the practice
TNES. is a fine art photography studio founded by Victor Safdie Levy. the work documents unposed life — people, places, and light that exist for a moment and disappear.
nothing is staged and nothing is repeated. the studio works between rio de janeiro and new york, and photographs what is already happening — bathers, vendors, runners, animals, weather, the last light on a wall. the frame is chosen in the moment or it is lost.
how the work is made
archival pigment print on matte fine art paper, made to order in new york. signed and numbered on the verso, authenticated with the [O] mark.
unframed: 10–14 business days. framed: 3–4 weeks, built to order.
the studio
each work is released as a small archival edition, signed and numbered on the verso, so the print stays close to the moment it came from. larger sizes and full editions are quoted directly.
the archive is small on purpose. take one hour home.
